Hi martin ew,1. Which service pack is installed on the computer for Windows XP?Method 1:I would suggest you to install the latest service pack and also run all the windows updates which apply to your operating system and then check if the issue still appears.Method 2:I would suggest you to download the redistributable package for the .NET framework according to the operating system version and then check if you the issue resolves. Refer to the below links for assistance -Microsoft .NET Framework Version 2.0 Redistributable Package for 32-bit operating system-http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?familyid=0856EACB-4362-4B0D-8EDD-AAB15C5E04F5&displaylang=enMicrosoft .NET Framework Version 2.0 Redistributable Package for 64-bit operating system -http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?familyid=B44A0000-ACF8-4FA1-AFFB-40E78D788B00&displaylang=enMethod 3:If the issue persists I would suggest you to refer to the below link and check for the various other solutions provided to resolve the issue - http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/forums/en-US/netfxbcl/thread/8a670d69-ac5c-40d1-9bd8-3b1111f2d544 Hope this helps. Thanks,Meghmala – Microsoft SupportVisit our Microsoft Answers Feedback Forum and let us know what you think
